Every punk rocker needs a red flannel shirt, so this will be the base of the nail. Using CND Shellac, apply 2 coats of Wildfire, curing in a UV lamp between each.  

Using Blackpool, paint on the plaid design and cure in a UV lamp when done. Apply top coat, cure and wipe with alcohol.  

To create the rocker, use acrylic to sculpt the shape of the face (tongue sticking out, of course) on a plastic bag.  

Use acrylic to sculpt the shapes for the letters of the slogan "Punk Lives".  

The anarchy symbol is created by cutting and bending wire, then gluing together.  

Using Shellac, paint the letters PUNK in both upper and lower case. For the LIVES, use a paint spatter/graffiti style. Use more pieces of cut wire to add embellishments to the rocker's choker.  

Paint on the face of the rocker in a cartoony style, using CND Shellac in Black Pool, and cure. Finish with top coat and cure.  

Metallic threads in three different colors are used to create the mohawk. Attach using glue.  

Spikes and chain were found on old costume jewelry, separated and attached with acrylic.  

Finally, attach all of the elements to the nail using acrylic, overlapping and stacking to create a true punk feel.
