I don't have an overlay or gel on my nails just a base coat. I apply a base coat then my nail design then a top coat and I'm done :)

Yes, I agree with Meli, you are blessed. Take care of them. Those of us who are not so lucky have to use enhancements. But I thank God for Gels, because I wore acrylics for years on end only to the detriment of my natural nails, now I use gels exclusively, and I have healthy and beautiful nails. Would love to see these all dressed up!

Thank you so much, I use to get my nails done at salon with acrylics trying to be like my friends because their nails would look so pretty. and the acrylics really messed my nails up, My nails always grew long for as long as I can remember, but it took me a while to get them back healthy from acrylics. I've never tried the gel nails before. I wish I had though back in the day. So with gels you don't have to do all the filing etc...?
