Freehand gel-polish nail design

1) First step is a nail prep for application of a gel polish\n2) I chose white translucent base for my design. To get a white translucent color, I blended a white gel polish to a gel polish top coat carefully. I applied this mixing onto the nail using a clean brush from my old gel polish (some brushes may leave unwanted stripes). Cured\n

3) I started painting of my flower with a pink gel polish. Cured

4) I painted leaves in light green and a yellow pistil. Cured

5) I made dark pink mixing black and pink gel polishes. With this color, I outlined petals and made the central part of the flower darker. As for highlights, I blended white and pink together and applied it onto the middle part of each petal. I added dark green strokes onto the leaves. As for pistil, I made the right side of it darker (mixing yellow and black) and the left side lighter making small dots with a brush and white gel paint. Cured a little (because I did thin layers)

5) I made dark pink mixing black and pink gel polishes. With this color, I outlined petals and made the central part of the flower darker. As for highlights, I blended white and pink together and applied it onto the middle part of each petal. I added dark green strokes onto the leaves. 7) Using a size 0 brush and black gel paint, I contoured my petals and leaves, and made the central part of the flower dark. I then added lines onto the petals using white gel paint. Cured\n8) When I was happy with my art work, I covered it with a gel polish top coat, cured, and removed the tacky layer\nDone!\n
