Queen of the 80s

Begin 80s inspired look by choosing one desired nail polish color and five to six nail art colors. Paint top half of the nail with desired nail polish color.  

Using an old acrylic brush, dip brush into acetone and clean off excess paint leaving the bottom half of the nail clear.  

Paint clear polish onto bottom half of the nail.  

Begin color block design by drawing different shapes (triangle, square, rectangle, etc.) using different colors, leaving the middle section of the nail blank.  

Fill in each drawn shape with the nail art colors you’ve selected, leaving no gaps or spaces in between.  

Add black and white pin stripes to middle section of nail.  

Using black nail art, outline each individual shape.  

Measure and cut chains to fit the top half of the nail. Paint one coat of clear onto top half of the nail. Lay large chain first, followed by smaller chain, shaping to fit like a necklace. Allow nail to dry for approximately two minutes.  

Apply one coat of clear polish to bottom portion of the nail and add 80s inspired 3D charm. Allow nail to dry for approximately two minutes.  

Apply a few drops of nail glue to the chains and charm piece, allowing glue to dry for three to five minutes. Finish desired look with clear polish or gel top coat.
