This set of 5 nail tips represents, the people and things that push me to succeed in my career, & the things that are important to me. Our challenge was to "creatively play" by designing 5 nail tips. Handpainted using nail polish, gel, and acrylic paint. I personally have a bit of all three in my design. I definitely felt creative, and it was so much fun to play with this set. I can't wait for the next challenge. Crossing my fingers!
Step-by-Step Nail Art Tutorial

I started by gluing my tips together so I could create my mural across all 5. Then I used a white gel polish base. Cured, cleaned tacky layer, and slightly buffed.

Begin your mural by lining out your main image with black acrylic paint. I used Art Paint "Pitch", by Wildflower Nail Academy. But you can use any acrylic paints. I suggest watering it down a bit so it's smooth to work with.

Next, create your background. This can be anything you want! I chose a wiggly checkered pattern.

Fill in your checkers! So much fun!

I wanted to add some roses because I love how they look, so begin to paint your roses around the edges. If you're using a light color, paint your roses in white first, then cover them with the color of your choice. They will stand out more over the black.

Finish your roses by adding the details.

Now it's time to fill your polish spill with the outlines of your favorite things, or some symbols that mean something in your life, or random doodles!

The fun part! Color everything in, and add detail to anything else you think might need it. This is a good time to check your lines for clarity and smoothness.

Add your favorite glitter to your spill, then topcoat & admire your work! You worked hard for this! <3
