My Cover inspiration comes from Nails Mag. November 2008. The reason for me choosing this cover was because "flash tattoo art" is what inspired me to really get into the nail art craze several years ago. When I started messing around with nail art, I was most comfortable painting flash and thought it was something different and cool. Nail art has always been around but really not at the level it has now become. This magazine just reminds me of who I am as an artist and where it all began. I happen to favor Japanese tattoo art so this is my twist on it...

The last finger I reserved to paint was on the ring finger. I felt it appropriate to display "Inspiration" in Kanji, which is a very popular script in tattooing and also the entire base of this challenge. I then finished off the nails with a gel top coat, curing for the appropriate amount of time to give it a nice, lasting finish.
