Start of with a base coat and color of your choice. I chose blue.
Paint yellow stripes across your nails. I used acrylic paint for this. You can tape off the nails, I didn't, but then it's easier to make the stripes strait. Make one of the strips wider than the others.
It's a bad photo of it, but then I did black sections over the yellow stripes. Do them a little diagonally for the right effect. Don't do it on the wide stripe.
Lastly wright caution on the wider stripe. Finish off with a topcoat or two. If you use acrylic paint it usually takes two coats for a smooth surface.
