During the 80’s, if I’m not playing outside, you can usually find me glued in front of the TV watching cartoons. So you can imagine my excitement when I found out this week’s challenge! Without even thinking, I decided to do a cartoon inspired design to bring back the good old days! So here is my interpretation of the 80’s! Hope you enjoy it!

Apply gradient technique on nail tip as base. I used 4 different China Glaze colors, and sponged on the gradient.

With acrylic paint, outline Rainbow Brite and finish with shading and details accordingly.

Next, we move on to Baby Tugs from the Care Bears! Using the same concept, outlining first, and add in the shading and details after.

The 80's isn't complete with Jem and the Halograms. Using acrylic paint, I created a gradient effect for the logo, and coated it with some holographic shimmers on top. To make it more

Next up, I'm sure we've all played with it at some point in our childhood! The Rubik's Cube: Make the protruding Rubik's Cube out of Acrylic, and paint on the individual blocks with acrylic paint.

Place the Ribik's Cube on the finished nail, and secure with glue. Bring the nail to a high shine with a gel top coat!\n\nVOILA! Now Baby Tug is holding the Rubik's Cube!!
