This challenge was presented to us as a TWIST! We were asked to create a set of nails that JAN ARNOLD herself would wear to the next New York Fashion Week. Seeing this as one of my ultimate goals, I got right down to it! This would be an opportunity of a lifetime, and just working on these gave me goosebumps!
I wanted to push the boundaries, while keeping in mind a Jan's style. I kept them wearable, yet at the same time, with just a little bit MORE!
Step-by-Step Nail Art Tutorial
1
1- Apply striping tape 2- using gel paint, draw lines 3- blend to achieve marble print 4- add additional white paint where needed 5- apply charm 6- apply crystal

1- apply white acrylic to achieve desired shape 2- apply more acrylic to where is needed 3- file to desired shape and apply embellishment

1-hollow out the space drawn out with pencil 2- apply gold metal strip down centre 3- cut up little pieces of gold metal wires 4- apply randomly to the hollow space 5-apply crystals and a clear tip to seal off top 6- apply gel all around to cap the edges

1- using red gel paint, apply randomly and dilute with 99% alcohol 2- apply gold paint to the edges 3- embellish as desired

1- apply gold triangle studs to the outter edges of nails 2- draw hands using white acrylic paint 3- cover white paint with gold metallic paint 4- apply red "nail polishes" using red gel paint

1-using black gel polish as base. Once cured, apply white and black gel paints and commence marbling 2- apply details using white gel paint 3- blend as needed 4- embellish

1- apply embellishments as desired 2- use crystals and beads to enhance look
