Artistic Colour Gloss Step-By-Step

Push back cuticle. Remove debris around the cuticle area. File and shape nail with a 240/240 Exact Thin Wooden File.  

Remove shine from surface of the nail with 100/180 grit Effect Buffer. Cleanse the nail with Artistic Nail Surface Cleanser applied to a lint-free wipe.  

Apply pH Prep to the nail. Starting with capping the free edge, apply Soak Off Bonding Gel. Cure for 10 seconds in the Artistic Pro 30 LED Light. Remove inhibition layer with a dry Artistic Gel Brush.  

Using the Artistic Colour Gloss Soak Off Gel Color of your choice, in this case, Controlling #95, apply your first coat of Colour Gloss by capping the free-edge and then applying to the nail plate. Cure for 30 seconds in the Artistic Pro 30 LED Light. Apply a second coat of color  

Using contrasting colors, apply 3 or 4 color stripes diagonally across the nail. Colors used in Step 4 are Avante-Garde #01, V.I. Pink Room #86, and Trouble #99.  

Using Mini Striper, drag through the color to create the marbling effect and then add dots of color for interest. Cure for 30 seconds using the Artistic Pro LED Light.  

Apply the Soak Off Glossing Gel for gloss seal and shine. Cure for 30 seconds in the Artistic Pro 30 LED Light. Remove the inhibition layer with Artistic Nail Surface Cleanser applied to a lint-free wipe.  

Massage Revive Cuticle Oil into surrounding area after application.
