I started with the regular glue and tips and sculpted gel, after a couple fills I removed them Extremely gentle doing the cotton ball and aluminum foil method, then coated them with Sally hansens nail strengthener and a few top coats. You can also do a couple gel polish coats over something to nourish them to keep them strong. They were thin but had enough strength to bring them back and just keep them coated.

I didn't use acrylic, just ibd builder gel and it doesn't take too long. 3 layers of the builder gel then I do 2 min in the uv lamp each layer then the last I'll do 3 min. They're just thin brushed on layers.

I love a clean look!
And thinner capping on tips or natural nails
I never use acrylic.
I use Organic Powder or a few coats of a thick brush on glue, especially over tips.
My clients have a diversion to gel, acrylic as they prefer not to use chemicals on their nails, or at least as little as possible! Lol!
