Progression pics for The Greenman. 1. I started with a white wash to position the features. 2. Place shadows and begin definition. 3. Highlight with white again and define the image further with black and thin black wash. (Watered down paint) 4. Place the color, which was thin and watered down. Easiest part as really you don't have to worry about staying in the lines. Just have a light hand so you don't smear. Maybe a few extra strokes of white and green mixed for highlights.
