I was torn between doing a blue plaid or a red plaid. I've seen a lot of red plaid nails lately, so I decided to be different. And I love blue :) To create this look:

2.Use a nail art brush to paint thick crisscross stripes. The Limelight polish is a little transparent, which is what you want in this case. First, paint vertical stripes in different locations on each nail. Then add the horizontal (or vice versa). Add a little more polish to the square section where the lines overlap.

4.Use gold polish to add a solid horizontal line between the green stripes. On the right side of all the horizontal green stripes, add a dashed line. These nail look great like this without the embellishments too.
