Candy Land (1970's Edition)

Paint all of the tips with white gel polish. Be sure to cure after each coat. Begin to create the "Rainbow Trail" by painting each square one by one. It is very important that you cure each square before going onto the next so that you avoid the colors blending into one another.  

Applying 2 coats of color to each square will ensure a nice consistent coverage and make the colors pop.  

On a glass pallet, use a spatula to blend Akzentz Gel Art Powder with a blue color gel to create a thicker consistency. Begin to build the waves for the "Ice Cream Floats".  

Repeat the previous step to create the "Molasses Swamp" using a chocolaty brown gel color.  

Mix 2 parts powder to one part caramel colored gel and create the "Peanut Brittle House" on piece of parchment paper or plastic backed towel. Once cured build tiny peanuts on to the roof of the house being sure to flash cure after each peanut is made so that they stay firm and don't begin to blend into the roof.  

When you are finished making all the 3D elements, glue each piece down. Hint: Be sure to only apply a speck of glue to each piece so that it doesn't run down along the tip and attach itself to the next tip.  

Finally, paint all the fine details. Once cured, apply a matte gel top coat to each tip. \nEnjoy :P
