Apply two coats of charcoal Gray Nail Polish ( I used China Glaze Matt finish).
Apply black paint with paint brush in a diagonal. I like using gouache paints for my floral because they are water based, they have strong pigments and they dry quickly. however, any type of paint is suitable for this design.
Draw two doted red flowers. I used a #2 round brush and pressed lightly to apply 5 dots, to form each flower. The dots do not have to perfect or even. the only "rule" is that they are not too big.
using a fine round brush with a good tip, dip it in white color and draw leaves, making lines from the center of the leave outwards, leaving the center to show the black underneath. you may want to apply a very light pressure, so that it will pick up a little of the black underneath (if you are using gouache) and therefore will create shades in the leaf. Repeat 2-3 leaves for each flower on all sides.
when done, use a very fine detail brush ( #000) to add black and white detail to flowers. Add white dots in center of the flower, and along top and bottom, and add white lines to highlight the center of the flowers and the leafs and black to accent.
You can choose to add a touch of redish/gold glitter just to give it a bit of dazzle, or you can skip the glitter.. beware - putting too much glitter will take away from the design.
Make sure the paint has dried completely before applying a high gloss sealer.
