Natural nails always chip faster than any type of enhancement. If you don't want to put anything other than polish on the nails, try taking a 180 grit file and making sure all shiny is off the nails. Don't dig into the nails at all, you are just taking off the skin and oil that grow out on the nails. Any oils on the nails will make them chip and lift faster. Clean with alcohol. Don't use acetone to clean them it leaves a film. Also make sure you leave a 1/16 in gap between the cuticle and the polish. Cap the free edge with your base coat, polish, and top coat. Hopefully this will help you with keeping your polish on longer. I have a few other ideas if that doesn't work for you.
