Over gel nails, I used the old pink carnival hangover on a diagnol and thinned it out brushing uncured gel towards the cuticle. After curing I used 2 coats of the New Neon purple Carnival Hangover and on the second coat I dragged a short striping brush from the dark purple to the light purple, then finished it off with izzy wizzy glitter, all from Gelish.
