I use several types, most are Rounds, size 0 or 00, that I buy at the Michael's Craft store. The most I ever paid for a brush was 10.00, but that was rare.
I usually enjoy using the Taklon, synthetic brushes. I use the synthetic, because to me, they stand up better. are easier to control. Whereas, the natural bristle brushes absorb more paint and tend to be too soft for me, so that when I go to paint swirls for istance, they control the curves easier. Here is a link to some that I have. So you can see what they are. These ran around $5 or $6 for the package.

You will see that I love swirls! They are such fun to incorporate into various patterns. Enjoy!
