The current length of the gel nails were too short so I used forms and extended them to the length I wanted and shaped them into a coffin shape.
I painted the underneath part first, I used gel polish and a detail brush to paint stripes and used a black gel colour to paint stripes.
I painted the base colours red and blue with gel polish then painted the shapes I needed for the different designs.
I got all the colours down so that the next day I could just do all the black detail.
The next day I painted all the detail outlines with my black gel colour.
I finished all the characters, the black lines bring everything to life!
Then I sadly had to shorten them down so that my model could actually text again. But most of the designs can still be seen.
