Start with a nice colour. I would use another colour because this light purple is too close to the silver you're going to use
Add some blobs in another colour. A little blending is a nice detail of the lava lamp
Make the lava lamp by painting the sides black
Give the top a silver colour and accent with a black line
Give the bottom a silver look and also accent with black lines. Done! Beginnerproof
