I first started by beading gold wires with genuine swarovski beads and gold chain. Bending the wire to fit over desired nails, and then cutting the wire with wire cutters (you can also use nail clippers) .
Then, i sculpted feathers and leaf shapes with acrylic, and applied nail foil.
I started the base colors of the nails with white and grey, using a sharpie and alcohol to create the marbled/watercolor look. Then, after liquid tape has dried, with a makeup sponge I created an ombre/gradient effect. (Be sure to do enough layers to achieve a good ombre)
After applying more foil to the nails, I started going in with line work inspired by a beautiful haute couture dress with black and white acrylic paint. Using nail adhesive, I attatched the feather that is connected to gold wire.
For the thumb, I used the sharpie marble effect, added line work and foil, and the big wire and bead piece.
Using nail adhesive, I began to attatch the rest of the embellishments.
Finishing touches, adding more swarovski crystals and top coating with gel top coat and curing.
After applying cuticle oil, you have a haute couture masterpiece !
