I tried the exact same thing (That "For Audry color and silver striping tape on top.) Did you do a color coat,then tape, then blace, then take the tape off? I had REAL trouble with the tape I used. Yeah I REALLY like the shiney silver, but it just wouldn't stay. Getting a bit frustrated with.
