Heat Miser vs Snow Miser

On each cold nail I started with a metallic silver gel polish. To create Snow Miser, I began by creating an outline with black acrylic paint. I filled in the shapes with white to make my colors pop. I began to add color and detail until he was complete. I added matte topcoat to the painted designs on each nail and shiny to the metallic.  

For the pointer and pinkie I used a sort of abstract icicle/mountain design. I outlined my shape with light blue. I then proceeded to add different shards of colors with a variety of different blues.  

For this nail I ombred the silver and light blue metallic polishes. To create my north star snowflake I outlined it with acrylic paint, filled it in with white and added color.  

For the icicles, I outlined I outlined it with acrylic paint filled in with light blue, and added some shadowing.

For this nail I created a bolt of fiery lightning that Heat Miser is throwing on the cover of the DVD. I outlined with black, filled in with a light yellow and added my layers of color.  

For the pointer and the pinkie I created a flame design to coincide with heat misers hair. I created my shape with a light yellow and then added different shades of yellow, red, and orange.  

For the ring finger on the hot hand I started with an ombre of gold and yellow. I drew the shape of my sun with light yellow, outlined with black, and filled in with color.
