•Fold sculpting forms along vertical lines to make a fan shape.•Crimp the form to create the fan shape before curing.•The form side of my gel piece will be my painting surface to avoid having to file my delicate piece, this created a smooth surface for painting.(use the cured shape upside down.•HINT: Use 2 thin layers of the Trinity hard gel on the form and cure in a 2 minute UV lamp to avoid buckling and warping of the gel.

•Use an ombre brush for background colors, in blended shades of pink,violet, white and blue on the clear fan shape in opposing diagonal lines curing between layers. •Hint: Try painting on uncured top coat for a smooth painting experience.

•Use a small ,#00 oval cat tongue brush to paint flowers on to the fan shape using gel play paints on a wet surface of uncured matte top coat.Cure.\n•Add a touch of brown Gel Play to the edge of fan to give it that look of age. \n•Next layer a few streaks of Golden Nugget with ombre brush diagonally. Cure.\n•Use a liner brush and White Gel Play to highlight flowers in a raised effect. Cure. \n•Add Gel Play Lace White with ombre brush sparingly over entire fan shape.Cure.\n•Use a #2 oval brush for some white flourishes with Gel Play white. Cure.\n•Use gold chrome pigment powder on the entire piece wiping off excess with dry wipe.\n•Add Black-On to the very tip of the fan to accentuate uneven edges. Cure.\n•Top coat with Matte-On top coat.Cure.

•Create handles using a stiletto tip and an e-file to shape it and drill holes. \n•Use Akzentz Black-On for the handles.Cure.\n•Apply chrome pigment and then wipe some of the pigment off with a lint free square and alcohol for the antique look.\n•Apply Matte-On to handle and cure.\n•Use Golden Nugget to make a criss-cross lace design on the handle. Cure. Remove inhibition layer. Do not topcoat.\n•Cut the handle off at desired length with a tip cutter. \n•Attach handle to fan with hard gel, filing as necessary to make the pieces fit together.Cure.\n•Add one small down feather to each nail where the handle meets the fan with adhesive.\n•Use Shine-On top coat mixed with Golden Nugget gel to make designs on a curved form for the decoration over the feather and apply with adhesive.\n•Make small "gems" with options Aurora pearl and shine-On mix for handle decoration.Cure.
